I do not know when the war of Gog and Magog will be and when we will face trials and tribulations that we will need every Mitzvah and every bit of Shabbos observance to protect us but it is not fair off. Friends and Readers wise up while the going is good as nobody likes trials and tribulations.

This time water is not going to be used to destroy the world and not all the world will be destroyed as many souls are righteous. We may need fall-out shelters and prayers for us that survive. Yeshaya 24:3 The earth shall be utterly emptied, and clean despoiled; for the LORD hath spoken this word. 4 The earth faints and fades away, the world fails and fades away, the lofty people of the earth do fail. 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statute, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore hath a curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty; therefore the inhabitants of the earth waste away, and men are left few. According to the Zohar Noach had to be on 600 years old to have built up enough merits to enter the Teva. He was precisely 600 years old when the heavens were opened.
Part of the behavior of the people before the flood was a direct rebellion against G-D and the Giants in that time put their feet over the fountains to clog the rising water. What did HASHEM do? He made the waters boil like in Yellowstone Park and the water of Hamat Gader.

Was the Himalayan Mountains much lower as they are rising at a rate of such and such a year? Assuming that the water was 20,000 feet high and a cubit foot of water weighs 64 lbs. This is the second time

The seven Mitzvos of the
children of Noah have been established now. Procreation but not incest,
adultery, bestiality, homosexuality and other lewd and immoral and immodest
behavior shall not go unpunished for too long by HASHEM.

Rabbi Eliyahu Schatz Shlita has a theory that the continents were together at this time and when the Tower of Bavel happened, the land masses of the continents split off – the Americas that were attached to via Greenland to Europe and the southern half to Africa were pushed away in a series of earthquakes and volcanoes that produced the sinking of one third of the Tower into the earth and the top third to crumble and the continents to rapidly move over a very liquid layer under the outer crust of the Earth. Yehoshua for Children Chapter 2
2:1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out
of Shittim two spies secretly, saying: 'Go view the land, and Jericho.' And
they went, and came into the house of an Inn-Keeper and other services for
tourists (זוֹנָה) whose name was
Rahab, and lay there. (וַיִּשְׁכְּבוּ-שָׁמָּה.)

As I explained to my seven year old grandson – the
lady who owned the house, room for rent, is called a Zona from the word for
baked cakes and cookies Mezonos. She supplied first and foremost a
confectionary shop with tea, coffee, wine, beer or the local beverages. She had
a room or some rooms like a hotel/motel and in the case of my grandson – he
only understood Zimmer which is more a Bungalow for the family.

could not imagine the two spies which were according to our commentary doing
anything wrong – Pinchas (who killed Zimri for his display of immodest
behavior) and Calev ben Yephuneh who was in his 80’s at the time – small print

saying: 'Behold, there came men in hither to-night of the children of Israel to
search out the land.'
Two people with side curls
(Peyos) from the Bnei Yisrael must be spies. The logic is accurate (impeccable). 40 years ago the Bnei

Rahav sees the soldiers
coming and she also has an idea what the Bnei Yisrael will do to the city. She
hatches in her head a plan and hides the men.
4 And the woman took the two men, and
hid them; and she said: 'Yea, the men came unto me, but I knew not whence they
were; 5 and it came to pass about the time of the shutting of the gate, when it
was dark, that the men went out; whither the men went I know not; pursue after
them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.'
Yes, the men came here and
sat down for tea and cakes and then left the city on their way back to the other
side of the Yarden before the city was locked down for the night.
6 But she had brought them up to the
roof, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had spread out upon the
roof.
She had like small bales
of flax hay on the roof spread out and she put many in one place and left room
for the men to breathe under all the layers of flax.
7 And the men pursued after them the
way to the Jordan unto the fords; and as soon as they that pursued after them
were gone out, the gate was shut.
This was to kill the spies
on their way out to the Yarden and to lock the spies inside so that they could
be captured. Yet we do not know why she wants to help the Bnei Yisrael over her
own people. Perhaps the people did not think nicely of her and were nasty to her.
8 And before they were laid down, she
came up unto them upon the roof; 9 and she said unto the men: 'I know that the
LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that
all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you. 10 For we have heard how
the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea before you, when ye came out of
Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond the
Jordan, unto Sihon and to Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. 11 And as soon as we had
heard it, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more spirit in any
man, because of you; for the LORD your God,
She lost all her bakery
shop customers as the people lost their appetite for her luxury goods and
services. She then explains what the Goyim think of the G-D of the Bnei
Yisrael.
He is God in heaven above, and on
earth beneath.
Rahav knows what is about
to happen as Pharaoh, Amalek, Arad, Midian, Moav, Og and Sihon so she pleads
for her life and the lives of her family members.
12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear
unto me by the LORD, since I have dealt kindly with you, that ye also will deal
kindly with my father's house--and give me a true token—
She has the power to
report the men to coming soldiers and yet she is more afraid of HASHEM so she
makes a request for her own life and family.
13 and save alive my father, and my
mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver
our lives from death.' 14 And the men said unto her: 'Our life for yours, if ye
tell not this our business; and it shall be, when the LORD gives us the land,
that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.'
At this point she gives
them an escape route. From digging up the ruins of the old Yericho one can see
a double wall, her house was on the edge of the wall so that she had a window
that looked outwards. She therefore gathered rope for an escape ladder.
15 Then she let them down by a cord
through the window; for her house was upon the side of the wall, and she dwelt
upon the wall. 16 And she said unto them: 'Get you to the mountain, lest the
pursuers light upon you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the
pursuers be returned; and afterward may ye go your way.'
Rachav gives the men an
escape route to avoid the soldiers returning from their pursuit. 3 days is
enough to make the soldiers believe than the man crossed the Yarden and are in
the camp of the Bnei Yisrael.
17 And the men said unto her: 'We will
be guiltless (נְקִיִּם אֲנַחְנוּ) of this your oath
which thou hast made us to swear.
נְקִיִּם אֲנַחְנוּ means we will build or up hold our oath.
18 Behold, when we come into the land,
thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let
us down by; and thou shalt gather unto thee into the house thy father, and thy
mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household. 19 And it shall be,
that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his
blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless; (אֶת-דְּבָרֵנוּ
זֶה--וְהָיִינוּ נְקִיִּם)
אֶת-דְּבָרֵנוּ
זֶה--וְהָיִינוּ נְקִיִּם and these things we will uphold.
and whosoever shall be with thee in the house,
his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him. 20 But if thou utter
this our business, then we will be guiltless of your oath which thou hast made
us to swear.' 21 And she said: 'According unto your words, so be it.' And she
sent them away, and they departed; and she bound the scarlet line in the
window. 22 And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three
days, until the pursuers were returned; and the pursuers sought them throughout
all the way, but found them not. 23 Then the two men returned, and descended
from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun; and they
told him all that had befallen them.
From Rahav’s help and
their swearing the oath and her report of the fear of the people of the Bnei
Yisrael and that the land was easy taking for the Bnei Yisrael.
24 And they said unto Joshua: 'Truly
the LORD hath delivered into our hands all the land; and moreover all the
inhabitants of the land do melt away before us.'
Now it is time to go and
conquer the land.
Halachos

Machlouf
has breathed for 45 minutes and the doctor is packing up! – A true story as
told by Machlouf
Machlouf was one of the workers for the
Chevra Kaddisha in Kiriat Shemona. One day he simply had a heart attack and
died on the spot. First aid was applied and the Ambulance came immediately and
a doctor came with a Defibrillator and tried seven times but to no avail. In the
meantime, the man’s brother called up a big Rabbi and asked what to do –
convince the Doctor to make one more try before writing out the death
certificate form. He did and like a Bris Mila and Yom Ha Shemini the
application of the eight pulse brought back the heart even though no regular
beat was there for 45 minutes. In short order machlouf recovered.
Now that was the physical story but
the spiritual story is about to be told for Machlouf was not sent back down to
earth to tell a physical tale. When his heart stopped beating, he hovered over
his body for a few minutes and watched the effort of everybody involve from the
Psalms of his wife to the phone call of his brother and the efforts of the
doctor and the paramedics. His soul was then sucked into a tunnel aka the well
of souls in Chevron and brought up above. He saw and recognized
relatives. He then was called in by a Beis Din of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu who
called him a Rasha (evil one) for talking during prayers and in the Schul. He
then was pronounced Gehennom but an Angel came and rescued him from there. (The
Beis Din contrary to earthly Halacha had 4 Judges)
Machlouf then went before a hirer Beis
Din and Angels of destruction testified to his talking and so & so and such
&such. Things looked very bad in fact bleak for him. In the Beis Din was
the Ben Ish Chai and other Rabbis whom he could not reveal in this world. Merits
were added such as his Torah learning, Chevra Kaddisha work, Shabbos and Yom
Tovim, etc. and still the scales were balanced negatively. Then one Angel spoke
up about how Machlouf would pray on the graves of soldiers who died young.
Sudden five rows of soldiers dressed in white appeared before Beis Din and
testified and the scales were tipped on the side of Gan Eden. As Machlouf was
about to enter Gan Eden; Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai came with his son and pushed
him down to earth for he had a mission to warn the people against talking in
Schul. With a good slap on the back; Rabbi Shimon sent him on his way and at
that time Machlouf felt the defibrillator shock as he body jumped reflexively
in the air and he started breathing and awoke as if nothing special happened.

late Rabbi Guzman’s dream as told to me by his grandson.
The Communist took over Russia. At
that time Rabbi Guzman was teaching Torah with his cousin and ritual

The Abarbanel writes regarding Gog U’ Magog (Armageddon) and the coming of Moshiach. Five hundred years ago he wrote how this war will look. Among the writings is when the nations of the world realize they cannot win they will turn to a nuclear bomb. This will destroy the world as we know it, in a moment. This is what the prophecy states. He however did not know about the atom bomb, but nevertheless spoke of the instantaneous destruction. The Abarbanel even describes the war will be a religious war. No one saw this 500 years ago, the matter of religion was not relevant to the nations of the world.
We will not be
warned, not even a moment in advance. Everything will destruct in a moment, as
the prophet describes. Therefore, we must be prepared at any moment, with all
our body and spirit. I have been shouting for years calling upon the Jews
outside of Israel to come home to Israel. Even those unable to do so, at the
very least, they should buy an apartment in Israel so that they have a place to
run to when the time comes. HaKadosh Baruch Hu runs the world. Don’t worry
Israel for we have a defense minister above us - Heaven- a much more successful
one that the one we call the defense minister of the State of Israel.
All of the
revolutions and turbulence began in 5760 and since then, the pace increases. We
only need to see the Taliban overtake the nuclear facility in Pakistan and then
it’s over. We are dealing with wild animals that can threaten the entire world.
And it will come to being. Then the prophecy will be fulfilled – “והתגדלתי והתקדשתי ונודעתי לעיני גויים רבים”. (Hashem’s presence
in the world will reach its height at the End of Days when Moshiach will help
fix the world. Yechezkel 38:23 description of Gog U’ Magog). 500 years ago, the
Abarbanel wrote in his holy writings the wonders of what will occur with the
Arabs. The entire process is taking place at lightning speed. Since 5760 the
world has not been quiet – a tsunami, earthquakes, Japan, Hashem is not
permitting tranquility. These acts are in preparation for what is to
come. Christians and Muslims are saying that the redemption is near since they
also see and feel it. It is already past the stage of ‘signs of the Geula’
[redemption] but one who delves into the words of our Sages and the holy books
see that it is visible in our day, the revelation of the wonders. The
vicissitudes in the world today are not only in the Arab world, but in the
United States as well. This is major but most simply miss it, they don’t
understand. Now losing it's influence and experiencing financial collapse,
they have lost their values in the eyes of the international community.
All the

Jonathan Pollard is not just an
interest for the Jewish community; meeting with Joe Biden should include
non-Jewish leaders.
Although one might question the wisdom
of the Gilad Shalit exchange for over 1,000 Arab terrorists, no one should
question the value Israel puts on the lives of its citizens. Despite the
terrible price Israel has paid to terrorism and war, and despite previous
hostage trades with those seeking to destroy the country, Israel’s resolve to
pay an extraordinary price to bring one soldier home is testimony to the value
Israelis put on human life.
Now that the campaign for Gilad Shalit is over, Israelis and friends of Israel should redirect that focus to winning the release of Jonathan Pollard. It is a propitious time, with the upcoming meeting with a high level elected US administration official on Pollard, the first to occur since his arrest 26 years ago. That meeting is with Vice President Joe Biden, the very person who claims that he is blocking Pollard’s release.
Four years ago, Vice President Biden publicly came out for the commutation of Jonathan Pollard’s sentence to time served; now, astonishingly, he has reversed this position. It is of particular shock to all of us who have reviewed Pollard’s case and agree that an injustice has been done. In response to the uproar concerning this about-face, Biden has agreed to a meeting of Jewish leaders to discuss the case. Because this is a pivotal meeting that very well could lead to Pollard’s release, it is imperative that we are clear in articulating that an injustice occurred, and, no less, that it Pollard’s release is a necessary move in America’s interest.

On June 27, 2011, I wrote President
Obama asking for the commutation for Pollard’s sentence to time served. I did
so after having met with Pollard, having reviewed his case and having full
knowledge of his letter of remorse. It is well documented that the average
sentence for a similar crime is 2-4 years. Pollard is now in his 26th year of
incarceration! This is simply wrong, and no longer just. Former
attorney-general Michael Mukasey made it quite clear when he asserted that
no-one questions that Pollard had no intention to harm the United States by his
actions.
Furthermore, this is not merely a matter of correcting an unjust sentence; rather the Pollard case harms the integrity of the United States Justice Department.
Commuting Pollard’s sentence to time served is consistent with the recommendation of his prosecutors, an opinion contained in the plea bargain they signed with Pollard. It is truly astonishing, and it raises severe ethical and moral questions, why these same prosecutors, Joseph DiGenova and John L. Martin, now advocate that Pollard serve a life sentence when they themselves, with full knowledge of the case, had agreed in writing to not seek a life sentence. What further raises questions is the fact that they sent two affidavits from former secretary of defense Casper Weinberger to the sentencing judge that clearly argued for a stronger sentence then what the prosecutors requested. This, it must be understood, was the impetus in obtaining a life sentence despite the government’s explicit promise to not to seek such a sentence. And yet the government argued on Pollard’s appeal that they had not violated their plea bargain. Now, by advocating a life sentence, they have exposed themselves as intentionally violating the plea bargain and, in turn, they have severely harmed the integrity of the Justice Department to whom they had a sworn oath to uphold.
While the integrity of the Justice Department and lawyers' ethics are important issues, the Pollard case raises even more serious issues of national security, matters that have now been damaged by the actions of DiGenova, Martin and others.
Recently, Pakistan arrested a Pakistani citizen, Dr. Shakeel Afridi, who helped US intelligence track down Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad. A Pakistani commission has recommended bringing charges of high treason against Dr. Afridi. CNN National Security Analyst Peter Bergen commented that due to the severity of the Pollard sentence, other countries feel that they can treat those who help allies of their countries, in this case the US, with equal severity.
Clearly, such an action by Pakistan will hurt US efforts in recruiting citizens of foreign countries in our efforts to go pursue other al- Qaeda leaders, something that will consequently and undeniably jeopardize US national security. Actions have consequences and it behooves us to understand the connection.
Prime Minister Netanyahu is the only Israeli prime minister who has visited Jonathan Pollard and has publicly written a letter to the president of the United States requesting his release. Netanyahu also publicly apologized for Israel’s actions with Pollard and stated that Israel would not and has not taken any similar action since. With the upcoming meeting with Biden, a person who had a strong record of friendship with Israel as a senator and as a former supporter of Pollard’s release, it is critical that the government of Israel bolster the efforts of those attending the meeting by further pressing on the Pollard case at this time. At the same time, the meeting with Biden should also include non-Jewish leaders, as the meeting is very important to America’s interests and the case of Jonathan Pollard is not just an interest for the Jewish community.

It
may be shocking to hear us say that the Dow Jones Industrial Average is headed
for 7,000...

usual, the bureaucrats are frantically running around Washington D.C.,
scrambling for the 5,672nd "solution" to the sovereign debt crisis.
The
phones are ringing off the hook in Frankfurt ... in London ... in Zurich ...
and all over Asia ... as bankers try desperately to stem the flood of sell
orders swamping their offices.
The
members of the Federal Reserve board and its district banks are ripping their

7,000?" It's: "How could the Dow NOT fall that far?" If
