Parsha Noach, Chassidic story and scary story of 9/11/01

Prayers needed for short term. Chana bas Tirtsa and Leah bas Chaya.

BDE The youth suffering from lung cancer, Eliezer Betzalel ben Bas Sheva, passed away. I am about to write about the generations getting weaker below but his behavior and manners were more like my generation even though he was either just shy of 15 or 16.

Revision of my theory of primeval earth. After speaking to Dr. of Chemistry and Rabbi Elihu Schatz Shlita, he told me that I did not need a solid earth but a molten earth with a steam and gas atmosphere. This matches perfectly the 3000 K Universe of Dr. Stephen Weinstein after the first three minutes.

The paragraph reads: Remembering Susskind’s ‘lumps’ in the initial ‘cosmic soup’ as scientists call it. One lump here and there might have been enough during this time to form a supernova. From these supernovas spread out across the galaxy the elements of carbon, iron, silicon, oxygen and nitrogen formed along with much heavier elements to the natural occurring uranium and those elements that break down over the course of minutes or years. One such supernova produced enough heavier elements that spawn out into empty space at zero degrees K would condense quick enough via gravity and magnetic attraction to form a body in space called earth or Aretz in Hebrew. After speaking to Dr. of Chemistry and Rabbi Elihu Schatz Shlita, he told me that I did not need a solid primeval earth but a molten earth with a steam and gas atmosphere. This matches perfectly the 3000 K Universe of Dr. Stephen Weinstein after the first three minutes. The elements that were gaseous would be attracted to form an atmosphere and the H2O thrown out would by the second day condense into water.

Parsha Noach

Last week I wrote a few things on creation that had proof of the existence of intelligent design without even getting into the complex systems of the body or the probability of random forming DNA, RNA combinations that have spaces that amount to the number 26. 26 of course is the Gematria of Yud-Kay-Vav-Kay where the Kay is really Hay of the DIVINE NAME.
The Parsha contained the story of the mankind to remain spiritual in Gan Eden but failed the test. After that failure, mankind became materialistic and ended up with murder, stealing and sinking into idol worship. After close to 1500 years, the population had corrupted both man and beast and the only thing left was to start the world from scratch.

Adam and Chava had disobeyed the command of G-D and brought death into the world. However, even though they were now earthly mortals, they were on the highest of spiritual levels being created by G-D.

The next generation resulted in the first murder and cover-up in history by Kayn. Still Seth was quite spiritual. Mankind learned to read what I call the astrological computer of the seven heavenly bodies and started honoring the servants of G-D. It took a generation or more and already they started Avoda Kochavim or star worship and then idol worship followed. There were of course righteous and Chanoch walked with G-D and turned into an archangel Metaron.

The world was saved by the merits of the grandfather of Noach, Methushalah. He was such a Tzaddik that until 7 days after his passing, the world was saved from destruction.  Do the math from Parsha Beresheis that he died in the year 1656 and the flood occurred in 1656.

6:9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was in his generations a man righteous and whole-hearted; Noah walked with God.

Walked with G-D like a small child that had to have his hand held to get through his generation. Avrum had a bad generation too but made a Tikkun and walked before G-D.

10 And Noah begot three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 11 And the earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

The Hebrew says full of Hamas. And their behavior was not better than the Hamas in Gaza or Hezballah in Lebanon. There were thugs that ruled and only the actions and merits of Noach could save the world.

12 And God saw the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.

Even the animals had become corrupted.

13 And God said unto Noah: 'The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; with rooms shalt thou make the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

Noach set to building this tremendous Teva in front of most of the town. The project took between 120 or perhaps 100 years to gather and build while everybody laughed at the ‘folly’. Had a few listen and built their own, they too would have survived for believing in HASHEM.

15 And this is how thou shalt make it: the length of the ark three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

If we go according to Chazon Ish the Teva would be 150 m x 25 m by 15 m making it 1.5 football fields long, standard swimming pool length wide and between 4 and 5 stories high. Built on the flat plain in Iraq, it would stick out like a sore thumb. According to the standard cubit of the Bnei Noach and the span of my finger to elbow it is .45meter long or 135 m x 22.5 m x 13.5 m. This would make it 4 stories high with a slanted roof.

16 A light shalt thou make to the ark, and to a cubit shalt thou finish it upward; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

Tradition has it that there was a window or two where the raven and pigeon would fly out of but the light was a Zohar or open area under the slant of the roof for air circulation. With people and hundreds of animals, fresh air was needed.

17 And I, behold, I do bring the flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is in the earth shall perish.

This would indicate trees also. The oldest tree in the world is in California and estimated to be 4100 years old. Add this to year of the flood brings our estimate to approximately today.

18 But I will establish My covenant with thee; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee. 19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. 20 Of the fowl after their kind, and of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive. 21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.' 22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

He brought pairs of everything known to mankind into the ark. In the book “In search of Noah’s Ark’ the author claims that there was an expedition from Russia in 1917 that found the Ark as Turkey collapsed and they had pictures of cages large enough to house dinosaurs but the photos went to the Czar and the revolution either destroyed or hid them as it would disprove atheism.

7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah: 'Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before Me in this generation. 2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee seven and seven, each with his mate; and of the beasts that are not clean two [and two], each with his mate; 3 of the fowl also of the air, seven and seven, male and female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. 4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I blot out from off the face of the earth.'

According to many authorities is that the world once was vegetarian even though Chevel aka Abel sacrificed sheep. Now they would be able to eat meat after the flood. Carnivorous animals during the year of the flood ate fish.

5 And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. 6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. 7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

He was given a sign that the death of Methuselah would occur and then it was time to load the Teva with animals. I assume that seeds of plants and flowers were aboard already. Also enough food to feed all the animals in the Teva. Some would go into hibernation for close to the year.

10 And it came to pass after the seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

During these seven days it was like the primeval light perhaps a planetary pass or supernova close enough by.

11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. 13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;

They were the last ones on after putting their zoo aboard. It could also be that they did not believe themselves.

14 they, and every beast after its kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth after its kind, and every fowl after its kind, every bird of every sort. 15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh wherein is the breath of life. 16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him; and the LORD shut him in. 17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bore up the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth. 18 And the waters prevailed, and increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

Volcanos across the planet spewed into the surface steam and ash from the rocks below that absorbed waters. These are called ‘fountains of the deep’ or ‘geysers’.

19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high mountains that were under the whole heaven were covered. 20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

7 to 7.5 meters above the highest mountain. Noach had some measuring devise I assume.

21 And all flesh perished that moved upon the earth, both fowl, and cattle, and beast, and every swarming thing that swarmed upon the earth, and every man; 22 all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, whatsoever was in the dry land, died. 23 And He blotted out every living substance which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and creeping thing, and fowl of the heaven; and they were blotted out from the earth; and Noah only was left, and they that were with him in the ark. 24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth a hundred and fifty days.

This was how long the waters remained at their highest.

8:1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;

Probably some was absorbed in the ground. Now the height of Mount Ararat today after centuries of wear and tear is 5,137 meter. The first question on your mind must be that mount Everest is 8,848 meters and I answer you that Everest is growing each year. At the time of the flood it could have been much – much less.

2 the fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained.

The waters from the rocks stored in the earth. In Kaboom Creation I go into this between the second and third day.

3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually; and after the end of a hundred and fifty days the waters decreased.

Sea level had reached mountain level. Once can see such evidence in the cavern in the Abshalom Forest. The sea had been high up. Also Utah and other States have evidence that a sea was once there.

4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

Ararat like Har Nevo (where Moshe died) and Har Hermon is a series of mountains. The highest in Biblical Times named the range. Today we use the term Himalayas, Alps, Rockies etc. to describe a mountain range. The waters were going down so it floated down the mountain range until at some point in time and space it rested but still having water at the bottom of the Teva.

5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

It appears that fog or clouds hid the mountains by all the evaporation occurring. As the waters receded enough the tops of the mountains came into view.

6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made. 7 And he sent forth a raven, and it went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

The raven being a bird of prey at the carcasses of fish that were caught on top of the mountain and had too much food to desire to return to captivity.

8 And he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground. 9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him to the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth; and he put forth his hand, and took her, and brought her in unto him into the ark.

The Dove did not have the food that she likes.

10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark. 11 And the dove came in to him at eventide; and lo in her mouth an olive-leaf freshly plucked; so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

At this point she was like a homing pigeon and returned. This time some of the trees had survived and the olive tree is resilient and had leaves. The pigeons like the olive trees according to the commentaries even though I see them more in my fig tree which is next to the olive.

12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; and she returned not again unto him anymore. 13 And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dried.

The majority of commentaries hold that this is Rosh Chodesh Tishrei or Rosh Hashanah but there are scholars that hold it was Rosh Chodesh Nissan which is generally called the first month.

14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dry.

27th of Mar Cheshvan the grass for grazing must have returned and there was enough food to let the carnivores out first to find food and then the more herbivorous animals out to graze. The dogs and cats had bonded with mankind and would stay close to mankind.

15 And God spoke unto Noah, saying: 16 'Go forth from the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.

First the Torah speaks in general terms and now the Torah speaks in specific terms as with the story of the creation of man in chapter 1 and then the story of Gan Eden in Beresheis.

17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee of all flesh, both fowl, and cattle, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth; that they may swarm in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.' 18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him; 19 every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, whatsoever moves upon the earth, after their families; went forth out of the ark. 20 And Noah build an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt-offerings on the altar.

This would include deer, elks, bison, water buffalo, chickens, turkeys, peacocks and others that would not be sacrifices in the future.

21 And the LORD smelled the sweet savor; and the LORD said in His heart: 'I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done. 22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.'

The Ben Noach in his book claims that during the first 1656 years, the earth was watered by the midst as described in Gan Eden and a more moderate climate. Now something had caused the axis of the earth to wobble and the new phenomena was called seasons. The Pshat does not indicate it.
9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them: 'Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, and upon all wherewith the ground teems, and upon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they delivered. 3 Every moving thing that lives shall be for food for you; as the green herb have I given you all.
Man could not stop being a vegetarian and eat anything as the people of the far east do and soldiers of various armies are trained to live off the land. Kashrus was not yet to be.

4 Only flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Although Kosher Slaughter did not exist, one was to roast the food that the blood would come out and the Bnei Noach are not confined to kosher but they should not eat blood.

5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it; and at the hand of man, even at the hand of every man's brother, will I require the life of man. 6 Whoso sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God made He man.

This is the prohibition of murder.

7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; swarm in the earth, and multiply therein.' …11 And I will establish My covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of the flood; neither shall there anymore be a flood to destroy the earth.' 12 And God said: 'This is the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I have set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth. 14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow is seen in the cloud, 15 that I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

The Talmud says woe to the generation that sees a rainbow for it is a sign that they are wicked and not destroyed because of the Bris. However, it is said that in certain generations like that of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai the rainbow was not seen.

… 10:1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and unto them were sons born after the flood.  …21 And unto Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, to him also were children born. … 32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations; and of these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

Those mentioned are 70 nations that would form.

11: 1 And the whole earth was of one language and of one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3 And they said one to another: 'Come, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly.' And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. 4 And they said: 'Come, let us build us a city, and a tower, with its top in heaven, and let us make us a name; lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.'

Now it came to pass that these people no longer believed in the promise of HASHEM. Many had come to believe that G-D was like their idols and they could defeat him if they stormed the heavens and no flood would occur. Oops somebody forgot that the world was created ex-nilo aka from nothing. Somebody forgot that the history of planet consisted of water then dry land and that G-D had created man. History has been distorted by poor education. Man has reverted to idol worship and making war with G-D to prevent another flood. Each generation is getting further from the source and weaker. Noach and Adam’s lifespans overlapped and he received history from the source and brought it to Shem, Ever and even Avrum could have met Noach until his passing when Avrum was 58. Arab tradition places Noach’s grave in Lebanon not impossibly far from Haran where the family of Avrum lived. I have watched the generations in my own life get weaker. The ‘greatest generation’ had gone through the depression, holocaust and World War II. My generation grew up without air conditioning and when I was small we had no washing machine and ice was brought for out ice box a refrigerator or TV was a bit of luxury and not everybody had a car. My children grew up with more luxuries but being a bit more luxurious than mine. This particular generation as computers, tablets, smart phones and other things that lead to idleness. This is what basically happened in one way or other after the flood. Finally, with a lot of time on their hands, they decided to build a tower up to heaven. Logic and history were not given to their thought process.

If one was to use logic and not believe G-D where would you or I build the tower to fight G-D? We would start on the top of Mount Ararat and build it with grain and other things high enough the mountain top. Instead, the built it in the valley not far from sea level. Today we can compare this with poor education of children that prefer socialism over the free market. They were never fully educated about the Soviet Union, Cuba and Venezuela. The exact same thing happened in the Dor (generation) of Peleg.

5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built. 6 And the LORD said: 'Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is what they begin to do; and now nothing will be withheld from them, which they purpose to do. 7 Come, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.'

The shock of the earthquake and other things that destroyed Migdal Bavel upset their brainwaves and thinking and 70 different languages evolved. Only certain children of Shem and Ever who did not participate in the construction and rebellion would retain the original language.

8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth; and they left off to build the city. 9 Therefore was the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth; and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Bavel is not only a place but means to confuse.

10 These are the generations of Shem. Shem was a hundred years old, and begot Arpachshad two years after the flood. 11 And Shem lived after he begot Arpachshad five hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

There were sons and daughters that participated in the Migdal.

12 And Arpachshad lived five and thirty years, and begot Shelah. …14 And Shelah lived thirty years, and begot Eber. … 16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begot Peleg.  …18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begot Reu. … 20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begot Serug. …22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begot Nahor. 23 And Serug lived after he begot Nahor two hundred years, and begot sons and daughters. 24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begot Terah. … 26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran. 27 Now these are the generations of Terah. Terah begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begot Lot. 28 And Haran died in the presence of his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees. 29 And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah. 30 And Sarai was barren; she had no child. 31 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran, his son's son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. 32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years; and Terah died in Haran.

We need this for the continuation later with the birth of Yitzchak and the Marriage to Rivka and later the marriage of Yacov to his wives.

A pair of deadly dogs by R’ Yerachmiel Tilles

A Jew in a Soviet Siberian prison camp in the mid-1900's went to fellow inmate Rabbi Mendel Futerfas one winter day and asked him for a blessing. "Tomorrow night I'm planning on escaping from here, and I want a blessing from you for success."
Reb Mendel was shocked. "It's a clear risk of life to try and leave this place, and well against the odds! There are guards and dogs, and barbed wire, and high walls. How can you even think of such a thing?"
The man explained that for a very long time he had been diligently knocking small holes into one of the outer walls in a large circle. "It's at the point now where I just have to push into the center and the entire hole will cave in." More recently, he had observed and discovered that every night at a certain time, there is a window of opportunity for 30 minutes when the guards are changing their positions.
The next night, Reb Mendel watched as this man waited for his half-hour window. When the moment arrived, he went to the wall and pushed into the circle, and just as he had said, a large round hole appeared and he crawled through.
As soon as he emerged on the other side he started running. R. Mendel watched incredulously as two huge dogs appeared out of nowhere and began to chase the speeding Jew. When they almost caught up to him, he saw the Jew reach into his pocket, pull out two huge pieces of meat and throw them behind him. The dogs stopped in their tracks and began tearing apart their surprise meal.
R. Mendel noticed that there was a guard atop the wall in the tower, who had watched this entire scene unfold. Right then he lowered his rifle, aimed at the feasting dogs and shot twice. R' Mendel watched in horror as both dogs died instantly.

R. Mendel found himself unable to comprehend the series of events his eyes had witnessed. After a few days he walked over to the guard and asked him, "Why did you feel the need to kill the dogs? What did that accomplish? All you did is cause a loss for their owners."
The guard hesitated, then decided to answer R. Mendel. "We spend months of time and a lot of money and energy to find the right dogs for this job. They are hand selected and bred and then trained for service. If all it takes is a couple of pieces of meat to reverse all of that training and all of their pedigree, then what purpose could they possibly serve? We don't need them and they might as well be shot."
Reb Mendel would often retell this story, and append to it the following take:
"The Creator puts us in this world to deal with a multitude of trials from Heaven. If all it takes is a little bit of tasty meat for us to be sidetracked and fail a test, then what good are we? We are no better than a dog that cannot stay on course whenever a little bit of temptation comes his way!

Biographical note:
Rabbi Menachem-Mendel ("Reb Mendel") Futerfas (1906 - 4 Tammuz 1995), was a near legendary Lubavitcher chasid, even for those who knew him personally. In 1947 he was arrested for administrating networks of underground yeshivas and Jewish schools, and for facilitating the repatriation of thousands of Soviet Jews to Poland after WWII, and sentenced to 8 years in Soviet prisons and labor camps, which he went through without compromising any religious observances, despite the cruel pressure to do so. After another six years in Siberian exile he was allowed to emigrate to England, thanks to an appeal for family repatriation made by prime minister Harold Wilson during his summit meeting in Moscow with Chairman Nikita Khrushchev. In 1973 he settled in Kfar Chabad, Israel, where for twenty years he was a major influence on three generations of chasidim.

Robert Mueller helped Saudi Arabia cover up its role in 9/11 attacks By Paul Sperry
Originally Published on the New York Post

After a lengthy investigation, special counsel Robert Mueller charged Russia made “multiple, systematic efforts to interfere in our election” and said the incursion “deserves the attention of every American.”
But former FBI investigators say their old boss didn’t feel the same concern when they uncovered multiple, systemic efforts by the Saudi government to assist the hijackers in the lead-up to the 9/11 attacks — a far more consequential, to say nothing of deadly, foreign influence operation on America.
As the head of the FBI at the time, they say Mueller was not nearly as interested in investigating that espionage conspiracy, which also involved foreign intelligence officers. Far from it, the record shows he covered up evidence pointing back to the Saudi Embassy and Riyadh — and may have even misled Congress about what he knew.
9/11 victims agree. “He was the master when it came to covering up the kingdom’s role in 9/11,” said survivor Sharon Premoli, who was pulled from the rubble of the World Trade Center 18 years ago.
“In October of 2001, Mueller shut down the government’s investigation after only three weeks, and then took part in the Bush [administration’s] campaign to block, obfuscate and generally stop anything about Saudi Arabia from being released,” added Premoli, now a plaintiff in the 9/11 lawsuit against Saudi Arabia.
In fact, Mueller threw up roadblocks in the path of his own investigators working the 9/11 case, while making it easier for Saudi suspects to escape questioning, multiple case agents told me. Then he deep-sixed what evidence his agents did manage to uncover, according to the 9/11 lawsuit against the Saudis.
  • Time and again, agents were called off from pursuing leads back to the kingdom’s embassy in Washington, as well as its consulate in Los Angeles, where former FBI Agent Stephen Moore headed a 9/11 task force looking into local contacts made by two of the 15 Saudi hijackers, Moore testified in an affidavit for the 9/11 lawsuit. He concluded that “diplomatic and intelligence personnel of Saudi Arabia knowingly provided material support to the two hijackers and facilitated the 9/11 plot.” Yet he and his team were not allowed to interview them, according to the suit.
  • In Washington, former FBI Agent John Guandolo, who worked terror cases out of the bureau’s DC office, said then-Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar “should have been treated as a terrorist suspect” for giving money to a woman who funded two of the 9/11 hijackers. But he was never questioned either, Guandolo said.
  • Instead, Mueller obliged what Guandolo called an “outrageous request” from Bandar within days of the attacks to help evacuate from the country dozens of Saudi officials, including at least one Osama bin Laden relative on the terror watch list. Mueller assured their safe passage to planes, using agents as personal escorts, according to FBI documents obtained by Judicial Watch. Agents who should have been interrogating the Saudis instead acted as their bodyguards.
  • In 2002, Mueller prevented agents from arresting the Saudi-sponsored al Qaeda cleric who privately counseled the Saudi hijackers, said Raymond Fournier, an agent with the Joint Terrorism Task Force in San Diego at the time. “He was responsible for vacating the arrest warrant for Anwar al-Awlaki for passport fraud,” Fournier said. He even ordered agents who detained the fiend at JFK to release him into the custody of a “Saudi representative,” Fournier said. The FBI closed their investigation of Awlaki, who was allowed to leave the US on a Saudi plane. “Shortly thereafter, the Fort Hood shooting occurred and Awlaki’s fingerprints were all over that incident,” said former FBI Agent Michael Biasello, who helped work the Texas terror case.
  • At the same time, Mueller removed a veteran agent from investigating a tip that an adviser to the Saudi royal family had met with some of the Saudi hijackers at his home in Sarasota, Fla., effectively killing the case, according to the lawsuit. The home was suddenly abandoned two weeks before 9/11.
  • Mueller even tried to shut down a congressional investigation into the Saudi hijackers and their contacts in LA and San Diego, said Bob Graham, who led the joint inquiry as Senate Intelligence Committee chair. “The strongest objections” to his staff investigators visiting FBI offices there came from the FBI director himself, said Graham, in a 2017 interview with Harper’s magazine. Among other things, Mueller refused their demands to question a paid FBI informant who roomed with the hijackers and even moved him to a safe house where they couldn’t find him, Graham said. Mueller, with the White House, redacted 28 pages detailing Saudi-9/11 ties from the congressional report.
  • He also gave testimony to Congress that was, at the very least, misleading. In an October 2002 closed-door hearing, Mueller claimed he found out about Saudi-9/11 connections only as a result of the joint inquiry’s investigative work: “Some facts came to light here and to me, frankly, that had not come to light before.” Only, Moore said he gave Mueller “daily” briefings on such connections in 2001. Mueller also testified the hijackers “contacted no known terrorist sympathizers in the United States,” even though the FBI’s own case files showed they had contact with at least 14 terrorist suspects and sympathizers in the US prior to 9/11, including some working for the Saudi government. (In later testimony, he tried to walk this back, insisting he “had no intent to mislead.”)
While the Beltway media have portrayed Mueller as a by-the-book former Marine whose integrity is as square as his lantern-shaped jaw — a cop who can’t be compromised — others know better.
He’s a villain, and an arrogant one to boot,” former FBI Agent Mark Wauck said, adding that his former boss has a long history of acting as a “servant of the deep state,” or the permanent DC ruling class.
A Mueller spokesman declined to comment. But some agents say he was merely following White House orders.
“Any letting the Saudis off the hook came from the White House,” former Agent Mark Rossini said. “I can still see that photo of Bandar and Bush enjoying cigars on the balcony of the White House two days after 9/11.”
Still, others note the hypocrisy of Mueller going after President Trump for conspiring with a foreign enemy.
“Bottom line is, Mueller did not do an investigation on people involved in the 9/11 attacks who were connected to the Saudi government,” a former US counterintelligence official asserted. “Maybe if they were Russians, he would be interested. But he was not interested in investigating [Saudi] terrorists who murdered Americans.”
